I am GASSING HARD for a 10 string Bich, but a real deal (no imports). Lately I find myself really GASSING for all the cool guitars of my youth besides Charvel/Jackson/Kramer/ESP... I'd love some old Deans too, Hamers, etc... anyone else dig these late 70s early 80s icons ?

The Bich is one of my favorite models, I’ve got a Japanese made and a USA made prototype and they both rule!

I just seem to be getting into the music from that early 80s time frame, before the whole LA metal thing took over. Aerosmith from that period, Zebra, Cheap Trick, Triumph, Aldo Nova, Jefferson Starship (say what you will, but Jane and Find Your Way Back are cool tunes IMO), etc...

Sums up my youth

^ Yeah !!! ^ Funny that's not a Supreme ! No cloud inlays or neck binding ! Bill Lawrence pickups too.

I'd LOVE to have a Rich Bich! I've got a Mockingbird and a couple of Warlocks and they're every bit as good as I imagined they'd be back in the days when all I could afford was a catalog. I really like the Eagle, too. Those old BC Rich guitars were really well made, play great, sound great, ARE great!

I've been gassing hard for a USA 6 string Bich myself. Definitely one of my favorite guitars of all time. They're just so wickedly gorgeous. Like a woman's hourglass with devil horns at the top. What I wouldn't do to have a few back that I sold years ago. Some of the prices people are asking for them is just fucking ridiculous though. Good luck with your search.

This guy puts the extra strings on Bich to some good use. Cool chorusy sound when he hits the higher strings.

Has anybody heard of or had any experience with this...http://officialbcrichcustomshop.com/. It looks to be the latest incarnation with Neal Moser, Ron Estrada, Dan Lawrence, and Dave Cervantes on board. If that's accurate, and in consideration of what's happened with Bernie Jr (truly sad), and... if they stay true to form, this might really be something. However, the site just went up at the end of '17 and I haven't heard anything at all about it.

There’s been some drama already I think... I have an older Koa Mockingbird that is awesome, but the 10 string Bich is just something I’ve always loved. Anyone remember Ed Roman and all the neck through body blanks he had ?

Yeah, I remember all the blanks Ed Roman had. I remember him, too.

Too bad there's already been drama with the new custom shop venture. I'm just glad that I have the ones I do. I don't think it's possible for someone to want something more than I wanted a B.C. Rich when I was 14. Still remember the first time I saw one... think it took me three months of scouring every magazine I could find to figure out what it was and where I could get a catalog. Wish I still had it, but it literally fell apart from looking at it too much.

Remember all the B.C. Richs in Spinal Tap?

I'd still like to get a 10 string models, but how I play them, the extra tuning keys get in my way. So I'll stick with the 6!

I'd have to say that the early Megadeth videos where Dave Mustaine is playing the Bich is what got me into it
