My other humbuckers are PRS Dragon II's, Gibson Classic 57's, Duncan Pearly Gates+, and a Duncan Distortion. The 36th anniversary in the neck is really nice, articulate, and splits pretty well. I am really considering one in the bridge at some point. It reminds me of the old Tim Shaw pickups I had in a LPC. The Super Distortion is awesome as well. It just seems like a well made rock pickup... everything just sounds great on it so far. I'm really glad I went with this set so far. I have to say though, that this guitar is giving me major gas for a US made mockingbird. I'm going to have to hunt one down to try out at some point now.

Cool, that really is a different flavor from what you have. I like the SD Distortion, too, but I think the DiMarzio SD more versatile because it's not so over the top. I've never played their 36th Anni, but I've heard a lot of good things about it.

I'm really liking the 2012 US Mockingbird I picked up a few weeks ago. I'm also curious about what exactly is going on with the BC Rich Custom Shop. It's like their main website doesn't even hint at any handmade guitars anymore. Then, there's http://officialbcrichcustomshop.com/ that just popped up recently. According to that site, Neil Moser is involved, and Dan Lawrence, but I have no idea. I hadn't heard anything about it until a few weeks ago... that's giving me GAS for a custom Warlock (or two, and another Mockingbird, and a Bich, and... ).

Thats awesome, I imagine it plays beautifully. It's funny how getting an import guitar I actually like only makes me want the real thing even more.

This custom shop looks really cool, seems ti have the right people involved. I imagine its expensive as hell though. Looks awesome either way.
