After a year of pining over this amp, researching, tossing and turning at night and coming to terms with the price. I finally ordered a BE-100 head. I cant wait to get this into the studio.
It was a tough decision between the JJ and BE. I could have gone either way but in the end I felt the BE fit me better. I can give updates but from what I have read I literally could not find anyone that hates it even after searching for haters.

Well, you made a good choice with the flagship amp. It's in a class of its own. A benchmark for modern amp design. Let us know how it turns out...

Congrats! :D
where'd you pick it up?

Thank guys, should be here tomorrow. I ordered through Musiciansfriend.com. I'm super stoked to have it for the weekend.

What are you going to use cab and speaker wise? I have had great luck with my EVH cabinet.

Congrats! I had the same struggle and haven't regretted choosing the BE over the JJ at all. It really is the perfect amp IMO. I've had mine for a month now. Just in awe every time i plug it in

Congrats! I took a long time to finally pull the trigger on the BE 100 too. I've now had it for over a year and can honestly say I haven't regretted the decision once. Enjoy!

Awesome, congrats! I went with the JJ and now saving up for the small box

For the time being I will be using my Legacy 3 2x12 with Vintage 30's. So far I am in shock of how tight I can get the low end. More to come after the honeymoon.

Congrats!!
The BE100 is just WOW!!!
Every time I plug in, SMILE, ear to ear.

If you can try other cabs, do it. It seems to be a bit fickle. Likes 25 watters for sure though.
Enjoy brother...and uh, ROCK IT!!

congratulations, sir...i am also a recent purchaser of this fine amp, and it rocks with amazing tone and touch response...it does what a good amp is supposed to do, it makes it hard to put the guitar down...

I like the tone but I think the Legacy 3 cab I have is better suited for the Legacy 3 amp, I would like to get a Friedman 4x12 but it seems overkill for me, but I would like the Greenback/V30 combination. Maybe the Friedman 2x12 with one greenback and one v30. The specs on my Legacy cab are Dimensions: 26" wide x 10.25" deep x 17.5" high and I believe this is poplar.

So I picked up a Friedman BE-100 2x12 cab new and it surely makes a difference with this amp, glad I did. Better lows and sounds huge. I have been playing, recording and getting used to all the settings on this amp because the voicing varies quite a bit from my Legacy 3 amp. I also went looking for a boost/overdrive that I could use with this amp that was a little more transparent than the TS 808 tube screamer I have. What I ended up getting was the JHS Double Barrel. One side of this pedal is the JHS TS 808 without the midhump. There is a switch I can add a slight boost, crunch without any coloration of the wonderful Friedman tone. The other side of the pedal is the JHS Morning Glory which is an adaptation of the old bluesbreaker pedal. What I love about this setup is that I can stack the 2 on the BE clean channel or just use the morning glory side for a little breakup. There is also a switch that will change the stacking order of the pedals for different sound. I also found that the amp simply sounds great plugged straight in as well. So far I am loving the amp and another thing I notice is that you really can hear more differences between my guitars with this amp.
