Does anybody else play mostly with the switches not engaged? I just love the way it sounds in regular be mode. I am really glad I pulled the trigger on this amp. I have never been more pleased as to what comes back at me when playing. I am using a EVH cab to get my sound. Thanks for listening to me gush.

I use it with no switches engaged. For me they'd be used more for recording, to get different voices. The BE100 really is like a Swiss Army knife of Marshall tones and I don't think anyone has done a demo yet that shows all the tones inside it. Most only show the real heavy side (lots of bass and TONS of gain) - Backing off the gain and bass and cranking the mids yields some KILLER old-school tones.

I really like the SAT and C45 voices. The SAT especially for face-melting metal tones.

I pretty much always run with the SAT on. I like my gain.

All switches OFF on mine. Used it a bit with FAT when I played my Grosh strat and tele with single coils and it worked great to fatten up the sound but now I'm playing my Grosh '59 spec (LP type) and needs nothing else other then the base BE tone. Might try C45 one of these days just to see what it's like.

Thanks for the replies gentleman,Sounds like we are all happy!

I used to love SAT with BE engaged. I use mostly C45 with BE then hit HBE for boost/solos. Fat is cool with Humbuckers if the bass is turned down a bit.
