Judge Ok.. found guilty quote "No not complaining but u can keep your pedal. I'm not impressed with any thing Friedman at this point" The one thing that stands out is customer service. He doesn't have to be on this site which is much appreciated to be able to ask questions right to the amp/pedal designer. Boss reverb had a problem took it back to store and the store sent in back to boss took 3 months to get it replaced and that was after 2 phone calls with no help trying to find out what was the wait. I should have bought it from Guitar center with them any problem they would just gave you another one. Friedman has been very helpful with many people on this board so if your feeling judged to bad to sad

Well, I'm glad he worked it out, but give the guy/company a chance to fix the problem before shitting on him/them!
As far as amps, I've played 10-15 Friedmend and especially the latest black PCB boards and DC heater scheme, there is no noise issues.
I sold my noise suppressor after I bought my Friedman Small Box. It never got used and was wasting space on my pedal board.

You stopped a gig over a reverb pedal ? Now that is truely funny

Never said I stop any gig over a pedal not working Read The Post. I never would hold up a gig just because a pedals not working

Sorry mike, trying to figure out why your even in this conversation? The people involved already resolved there issues. Time to move on ?

you made the comment about the reverb pedal. I was just responding. This getting old... You Think

Talk about embarrassing , this pedal sounds great if it could stay working. Something in the signal chain cuts in n out while playing. Sounds like a tube going bad. Get home with my head hanging down and I plug straight into amp no problems. Plug pedal board in problems start right away. Pull of out of chain no problems. Very disappointed in Friedman in general. Even if I mail it back its gonna be weeks to get pedal fixed after I had it for 3 weeks. How can I trust it won't do it again? Say what u will about boss, I never had one fail
I had a problem with my friedman amp and like you I was disappointed, in less than 12 hours I had a response from D Friedman and the matter was corrected with efforts that went way beyond the warranty. I then realized my purchase was well made. Shit breaks and nothing is perfect, get a reply from the ceo of boss in 12 hours? I doubt it. Nothing is perfect, and if you buy any pedal.or amp there is a reality that exist that it could have a malfunction..even with a boss pedal beleive it or not. Friedman customer service is the best period. Obviously his products being a house hold name in the music world is for a reason and customer service is a big part of that. Not to mention the sound provided,

After 24 past the agreed time when Matt in customer service did not contact me the pedal with be fed ex d back to sweet water. The pedal cuts out after being on for over an hour or so. After trying to put it on 18 v it sounded very harsh and a clear drop in volume on the clean channel.
I guess my luck with Friedman is just not that good. I bought this product due to the reviews and highly alcaimed customer service.
This is what happened to me. Sweetwater had a label and exchange program second to none.
I did test the SB,DS,BE,Runt ... Personally I found the runt to give the smoothest tone through a jub4x12 Marshall. These amps were a GC in timmonium MD for any on to play. I used a new 57 lp reissue. I my opionon there just wasn't any tone I couldn't get with my 205h and moded 1960 cab.
They sounded very good and I would love to have a SB but can't justify the price. I travel every weekend and gig and has to be a tough amp.
The pedal sounds amazing with very redponcive eq and I liked the tight control the most. To bad it just won't work ... My options and experince

So you like the pedal but think if it could have possibly had a broken component you wouldn't consider swapping it for another one that works? Have you seen post about this pedal not working? I sure have not so if you like it try again. It's easier than all the energy and time used to create thesee post's.thanks

Well out of 560 current views there are nine haters on me. I would say that the 9 are the minority. And yes it is being swapped out as we speak thanks

Definitly no h8 here, just an opinion, and offered my experience as posted. It was very nice to be be treated good when it mattered most.Friedman Rocks! I want more of his amps, if only my significant other would agree it's ok to have more amps than I can use:)

Sickriverlespaul, if the BE-OD has a "True Bypass" switch, this is my experience with other makers of pedals that I own that sometimes you have to "click-it" on & off a few times, maybe even 10 times then it clears! then the volume is as it was new. I have some pedals that are $500.00 or more and if I don't turn it on for a while (or off) I might get this sudden Drop in volume??? it sounded like your situation, like a tube going bad? it doesn't happen very much, but time from time. I can tell you from my experience with Dave's products (I own a BE100) I also had it modified and the experience was great!!! Even as busy as Dave is he has always answered any question I had. I've used my BE since modding at least 100 times in studios and gigs with absolutely no problems, not saying that anything can't happen, but equipment can act up? I know how it feels, when it happens at a gig can be the worst. I once read where Zakk Wylde had this really expensive rack gear at an Ozzy show, only to have it fail since then he said he uses the "Bare-Minimum". Dave is truly professional and he'll take care of your concerns.

Yes I agree , Friedman is a true profesional and did reply. Just a couple of unfortunate things just came together. I will most likely have a SB at some point.
The pedal worked great but it seemed after an hour at some point the signal was getting disrupted. The tone would drop, od green would drop a good 1.5 on the dial volume and the green clean would sound like a blown speaker or tube on the vurge of failure.
I have a 60k resistor across the r128 for gain reduction on od2 orng n red and a 10k toneclone choke. This gives so many to options and sounds amazing when pushed in the front. I use Jan he 5751 and preferred series 7025s and one JJ mg in the cathode follower. Along with 1/2 inch mattress foam lined cab sealed with silicone,12g wire and beat to hell v30/12h30(55hz). Clean as a fender, dirty as a want. Along with wizz paf brian may wined. And only run delay choirs and eq in fx, tuner wha of and ns2 in front. Its as simple as I can get. Thanks for all the input and to rack systems for everything. Very great full.

I'm not judging about the experience, but three weeks is well within any store's warranty period and certainly under Friedman's warranty. Instead of stating over and over that the pedal is faulty, why not just go through the usual warranty channels and get a new one?

My Mono bag has some issues after a couple months of owning it. What did I do? Contacted Mono and they're handling it quick and easy. Problem solved.

I did get a new one through sweet water thanks. And also a new Marshall head. Can't wait to get it. Now I have one for the practice room and one to gig.

I had a bunch of drinks after a gig !!! I was pissed lol. You should mention the five times I complimented the service. Seems like people see what they want.

Hell I haul produce in to the big apple. I can take some ribbing from guitar players who need to superior :)

Oh god. You couldn't pay enough to drive through Manhattan.

Glad it worked out with the pedal finally. Love mine. Enjoy.
