I just received a new purchase from Eddies guitars,is there a registration process or do i just keep the original box and bill of sale?

Keep bill of sale and box if you ever need to send it back for any reason.

I had to use the warranty very shortly after purchase when my BE-100 was making the weirdest noises I have ever heard come out of a tube amp. Great response and of course it was just a power tube which was replaced no charge. Good feel on service after sale.

How important is having the original box? My PT20 and BE100 came straight off the show floor. The GC I got them from said they threw the boxes out when they arrived. Bill of sale enough?

The reason I ask is that on the PT, the giant transformer seems to have pulled away from the base. It's still solidly attached and not loose at all, just not flush. Functionally everything is spot on and I don't want to send it anywhere for cosmetic reasons, but just in case it got dropped during shipping or something and something inside is fine but loose now and separates later...

Not sure. The shell is 100% and she sounds perfect but its only been about a week. Getting ready to retube both tomorrow since I have no idea how long they were on the show floor and how hard they were pushed already. Also because I want that new tube smell. Lol. Basically the left tab is a bit bent so the transformer leans to the right. I doubt its anything serious functionality wise.

Yea it had a rough ride. You can usually bend the mounting bracket back and get it standing straight if it bothers you.

Looks like it's missing a mounting plate. I think the PT because of it's weight usually has a mount plate under the legs.

No dude it doesn't necessarily mean the amps had a rough ride at all. Amp heads stored, standing on their sides vertically long ways can bend them tranny tabs, especially if there is not tranny brackets (which Friedmans should all have tranny brackets for the price, for real) on a big or heavy tranny. UPS or FexEx plopping them down vertically all the time.

The big metal washer is missing.

Plopping them down vertically by UPS hard enough to bend the bracket = rough ride dude. I do agree the brackets are cheap though.

that a pink taco amp. Very small transformer, it took a hit to bend it. Its not a bracket its the legs of the transformer. We are working on a solution now.
