They don’t ship till Nov 10. (Supposedly, you know how these dates can shift). They go ‘live’ on their website then. I guess Sweetwater wants to build enough inventory so they can ship orders and not be back ordered?

Dave told us to leave them alone till then. But they were still taking orders not sure if they are now.

Wow, i didn't know they would be harder to get than an iPhone X! LOL!!!

I just preordered one, I sold my Smallbox earlier this week to help fund it. Can't wait for these to ship. The Sweetwater invoice has an expected ship date of 11/8 but I doubt that's accurate.

I hope there right, hate to see it ship on a Friday then be on a truck all weekend

Just added some stuff to my order and talked to sweetwater and they said they will be shipping on the 8th so we will have them on the release date ! I just wanna jump up and down

Lol...it’s funny how pumped guys get on NAD.

Really happy for you guys, CANNOT wait until you all start posting YouTube vids!!

Yeah I am really looking forward to hearing some clips. Especially if anyone can do a side-by-side with the BE100

If this have the Buxom Betty clean, does that mean that can also have the crunchy/overdrive when the volume goes up as in the same way the full Buxom Betty amp did?

Or it's just pure clean and nothing else?

Great video, glad Dave was there to make sure SW captured the tone correctly.

One of the best amp demo videos I’ve ever seen. This amp seems to be one of the most versatile amps ever. Very nice!

Very curious to hear Smallbox owners’ impressions of this beast.

I love my SB, favorite amp I’ve ever owned. I do also have a Soldano HR-25 (a 25 watt SLO), for higher gain stuff and that particular liquid lead tone. I play my Friedman the vast majority of time and have thought whether I even need the Soldano - but I like it for that one specific sound it’s known for.

Now, I’m really tempted to sell both and upgrade to Dave’s latest creation. So I guess I’m wondering and waiting to see if all the extra tone sculpting tools on the BE-50 would get me close enough to that liquid SLO tone, so I wouldn’t mind parting with the HR-25. With the HBE channel, response control, FAT/SAT, pentode/triode- it seems like something in that ballpark would be available.

Also, I’m not too familiar with the Buxom Betty cleans - is it a Vox or Fender type thing? Are us Smallbox owners going to miss the versatile “clean to roaring plexi” Channel 1? Or will those bases be covered by the clean channel and BE channel with lower gain (different gain structure, etc...).

The possibilities of this thing do seem endless, and it appears like you’ll be able to dial in just about any tone associated with this family of amps. I’m pumped to see and hear reviews from you lucky early adopters!!!

I owned a SB and moved it to get a BE-DLX. First I’m blown away by the cleans. I haven’t played a BB amp but the vids I watched it seemed to break up after 4 o’clock or so, this version doesn’t really do that which I like. Very Fender esq totally competes with classic Fender combo cleans. BE channel covers plexi to BE. HBE is ripping and very aggressive, lots of options with gain structure, voice and SAT switch. Most flexible Friedman to date, Dave has out done himself again. The only thing I miss about the SB is the size & weight. I had mine in a custom Small box headshell. Only 21” wide. Crazy good grab and go amp for 50 Watts. The Deluxe is smaller and lighter then a BE100 but slightly heavier then a SB50 but same width as it’s original headshell. I’ve never played a HR25 but I’m sure the BE/HBE could be set up similar to it. I’m usually a simple amp guy (one channel all night, gigged with a SB or DS a lot) but the 50DLX is something else. By far the best high gain channel switcher I’ve played. Dave is like the amp love child of Leo Fender & Jim Marshall on steroids.

The icing on the cake would be to have a gain on the clean for that slightly broken up tone.

I was curious about the cleans breaking up or not, thank you for clarifying that.

Now Im really curious about the HBE channel and his tonal palette with the new thump and response knobs. I would love to hear it doing something like early Metallica. The sweetwater demo was obviously limited and Im still not sure if its capable of that kerrang, brightness, abrassive and percusive tone of those old plexis with the Jose mod.

Another smallbox owner here....How is the half power and master volume compared to the smallbox? While I will be using the amp out, my home environment makes me keep it down a good chunk of my practice time. thanks for the feedback. Also what speakers are you using?

I am hoping a BE50 Deluxe owner who is familiar with the Small Box or Dave himself can say if the BE50 can be dialed in to nail the sound of the Small Box's BE channel with it slightly more vintage voicing? Also, is the BE50 the same size head box as the BE100?

Looks to be a little smaller than the BE and slightly bigger than the Smallbox judging by the video and pics. I'll let you know when mine comes if it can nail Smallbox tones, though I don't have mine any more so I can't compare them side by side.
