Was he just not singing the style he is used to or was he just ripped in the early shows? Sounds amazing here and soulful. Seems to me like Jake should have just continued in the badlands style of writing because Darren's voice here definitely compliments that style.

I think he might have felt pressure to try and sound like ray (and ozzy to a lesser degree).........I really dig his voice on the album, can't wait for a new CD
