Things are getting better, I'm sure you guys didn't even realize I was gone! :D

Anyways, after leaving a good paying job, having two horrible paying jobs, canceling my wedding (no worries, she's still around and our relationship is stronger than ever) and a LONG dry spell with no new gear, things are starting to look up.

I should be able to start gear whoring again in the near future after a few more debts are paid off and I can get some change back in the bank. I now work two jobs.. I work Mon-Thursday for a injection molding company building anything from false teeth to plastic guitars (>.< ACK) and on the weekends, I sling gear for Guitar Center. So, if you guys have any questions or want my opinion on new gear, drop me a line in my PMs and I'll letcha know what I think or if it's a turd.

On other news, I'm finally starting to build a band in the Greenville, SC area, as I've relocated for my fiance and I's careers and would love to jam with anyone in the area looking to play/write modern hard rock. I'm a lead vocalist/guitarist myself and I'm looking for a bassist and guitarist as I've already got a killer drummer.

Anyways, thanks for reading and I look forward to BSin about gear and buying more shit than I can afford as usual!

Hrmm... Here's an example of my previous work in the studio as a vocalist, guitarist and bassist on the track.. It'll range from harder than this to softer than this.. I find alot of influence in bands like Alter Bridge, Breaking Benjamin, Tool, Ra, Sevendust etc.. I'm just that type of vocalist. I do have the ability to scream and will use it on some tunes. I also have some influences of harder stuff and would love to have bits of that thrown in for stage presence.

Here's another clip that is a very early scratch of a chorus/solo section on a tune I'm currently writing.

As a follow up to my last post, I'm looking for people to add their influence as this is still very ground floor. Anybody that comes in is welcome to write in all aspects including lyrical content. I'm a perfectionist, but not a Nazi about the writing lol. If you're interested, shoot me a PM and we'll exchange numbers and we can talk a bit and see if our styles would mesh.

Love your music man! Wish I was in greenville. I am relocating to Columbia this Fall for a new job.

Thanks bud. Work in progress for sure. I just left Columbia. Good riddance to that freaking place. LoL. Just be careful where you move to in Cola. It has hidden bad areas.

Really dug your song. Very cool.

I was surprised. I thought it was as that old saying goes, "Those who can, do. Those who can't teach." Or in music, "Those who can, play. Those who can't, work at Guitar Center." ;)

glad your getting your groove back on. :)

Haha ya know.... You are right about the majority of the people at Guitar Center. The ratio is about one in five for people who can actually play and know their shit vs retards. Thanks for the compliment on the tune, I am hoping to build a band and go somewhere with it.
