He used the A2 exclusively on the this CD. Got some assistance from Misha (Bulb) and a couple cats at Fractal. I think he used it for absolutely everything - amps, cabs, FX - the whole "modeling" enchilada.jasonmwnf":1gyg8pi3 said:Also, I know Stephen Carpenter has switched to the Axe-fx. It seems like it's all over the new album (intros and interludes). Wonder if he used any of the amp modelling as well?

I've got to get this lil' black box to where I know it'll get me. But there's an analog tube driven umbilical cord that's constantly holding me back.
Steve. Thanks for your updates to date... You and Steph have been very influential on my most recent headspace regarding the Axe-II.
Truth. And you're both part of the FOGS team I see. Film On Green Screen. Part of that massive populous of Axe owners who've never pulled that oversized bit of cellophane off their LCD screens. Anyone else notice this? Axes all over the globe, 98% of them still have this plastic film on their screens - too funny.steve_k":3cyvk3t3 said:You figured us out![]()
Nigel Tufnel syndrome - 8 is one more than 7.se7en":n0wdllnw said:Fuckin' loving this album. I also like Saturday Night Wrist and Diamond Eyes post-White Pony, but this is probably the best since. 8 string guitars, though...seems like overkill. I like Animals As Leaders and they use 8 strings, but there's no bass player in that band.
