unfortunately the bass I have has side fret lines which are tough to ignore as they're the same color as the side dots:

I hate when companies do that. Just put the dots where they normally would be, only at the fret position instead of in the middle. That's too much information on the side of the fretboard with the lines and dots.

I’m not a bassist and I don’t like signature gear and I definitely don’t like Periphery… but I want to get the 4 string Adam Nolly Dingwall. Because I like longer scale lengths and can’t stand extra strings
