I used a V-Amp 2 for about 2 years for recording. There was a GREAT editor from wabbitwanch.com called iVamp.

Opened all the extra functions and advanced parameters for effects. Some great sounds for $69 or whatever I paid for the Behringer. Plastic and flimsy but tons of tones.
