Belated NGD - KM-7

Got this about a week ago. Haven't posted on here yet, been on GGF mostly but yes this guitar is pretty amazing. Perfect neck profile, plays super easy and sounds killer. The neck Pickup in the middle voicing is especially amazing. Still haven't used it in a full band mix yet but I will next Saturday. Fantastic guitar from Schecter.

Same. When they finally got some stock they all failed QC and were returned to Schecter. Found this one used for a great price.

Just wanted to bump this now that the honeymoon is over.

Fantastic guitar. In fact I would say incredible. It is one of the best playing guitars I have owned and sounds killer. I would recommend this or a same quality Schecter to anyone.

I used to hate them back in the day because I played a fatty neck Hellraiser but I guess they have changed things. Schecter is definitely making some killer instruments.

I'm not sure what they were thinking with that old neck design of the Hellraiser and other guitars. I had a Blackjack 7 and that neck was one of the most uncomfortable necks I've ever played on -- it was worse than the fattest / thickest / most baseball bat -like neck profiles I've played. Going from that to a KM7 Mk I was night an day --- and the Mk I's have a thicker profile than the Mk II's...

Do you know how the profile compares of the Mk III to the other versions of the KM7?

I believe it is the same carve and radius. The differences being

1st - 19.4mm and 12th - 20.9mm vs 19mm and 20mm. Plus the neck materials/wood type.

I dig the look. You like thinner necks right? I like medium I guess. Not LP thick but not wizard thin either.
