Best All-In-One Floor Pedal for 4 cable method

I've been thinking of simplifying my rig. Maybe trying the 4 cable method. Anybody doing this?


What's the best quality All-In-One floor pedal out there now? I was looking at the Boss GT100 online.


Thoughts?

I"m using the gsp 1101 with control 2 with a single rectifier works like a charm. Gsp for cleans amp for high gain tone

My vote is for the Digitech Control2 w/gsp1101 . I've tried Boss gt8, axefx standard and the gsp system is by far the most compatable with amps for 4 cable method. I think they designed it to be used this way, works really well.

It sounds friggin awesome! Every amp I've tried with the gsp in 4 cable works great. Just like it's not even there, and like I said the gsp is pretty much designed for it. The wah/volume pedal and the od/boost sims go before the preamp of your amplifier and the delays/reverbs and other effects go after the preamp just like it's supposed to be. The amps and preamps that I've used include triaxis, piranha, JMP1, shiva, fuchs ods, mark III. They all worked very well with the gsp, no problems at all.

another vote for the GSP 1101

when i head one worked really well in this configuration, i think it's one of the few devices built from the get go with this in mind

I used a Pod HD500 this way, I had a little bit of tone sucking unfortunately, and it didn't handle very well to be in the parallel loop.

Never tried the GSP but it has very good press in 4CM.

My vote is for BOSS GT-8. The GT-10 and GT-100 both sound worse IMHO. You can put the GT-8 loop in any position -- totally programmable. I've used 4CM with multiple amps.

I use the RP1000. Same brain as the GSP but all in one unit on the floor.

RP1000 or GSP1101.... VERY hard to go wrong with either one...
