best amp for 1500 or less???

well. looking soon to get another amp. right now I have the kasha rockmod 50 which is cool, but looking for something with a bit more growl. so, I want something with pretty mean high gain tones. what do you guys think is something cool for 1500 or less? I saw a m60 Modena for 1500, that was suprising, a few years ago they went for a lot more!!!
