Got an Okko Diablo today.. it's the most open and transparent dirt box i'v heard.. Just sold my Suhr Riot and some Wampler stuff.

The Diablo might not have enough gain for higain.. I guess I don't like any of the higain pedals, only the Emma Reeza sometimes.

Get a Megalith distortion !!!

Those are monster!!!

I have one and it slays, you can score them from dealers on ebay for like 250

also the Blackstar HT- Metal is really killer too, that is my next pedal

id also consider:

- Wampler SLOstortion

and some of the tubed pedals by Swell.

All comes down to budget

You want a pedal that morphs with your rig and your amps natural distortion. A pedal that doen't cut your lows or spike your mids. A pedal that focuses the mids a little and adds just a small amount of squash to get those overtones and harmonics. A pedal that does all of this but at the same time adds some space in between the notes which makes your tone seem bigger.
