"Best" Marshall for modding??

Dave,
Looking to have you do the WORKS/KITCHEN sink for me. I love all the work you done for me in the past on my MTS stuff and want to step it up a bit.
Looking for the best amp I can buy for you to mod. Does it make a difference in what Marshall modle you need for the overall tone? I am looking to get the HEAVY tones.
So would your Black eye mod with the HBE and the Brown eye be the one? I love the clips and the HBE/MTS module I have just kicks ass.
Long story short......
JCM 800? Which amp 'takes' the heavy mods the best. Year made make a difference?
