I had my old SRB OD808 which has OD808 mode and SD-1 modes in one pedal and about 25% more gain than the standard OD808/SD-1 pedals. The SRBOD808 was in SD-1 mode the whole time.Did you guys have a favorite boost(s) or did it really vary depending on the amp? I see you guys had a Boss SD-1 along with a VFE Standout and some EQ pedals amongst others. Looks like a great time
This pedal was used with the Splawn Modded 1979 Marshall 2203 for the NON Pantera songs played in the video. I used the VFE standout with a Fortin Zuul+ when I am playing the Pantera riffs.
I had also taken my Maxon ST-9 Pro+ overdrive to try in front of all the amps especially in front of 311Boogiemans Recto's but we just didn't have the time to try it out so we'll have to try it next time, I think he would really dig that pedal into his Boogies IMHO.
I rolled tha gain way back on 311boogieman's 1995 two channel dual recto and boosted it with his Boss SD-1 and it was just glorious.......I really really enjoyed playing that amp as you can tell in the video.
Next time will make a song list of riffs and songs to play into each amp and setup in the same exact order each time, that way we can hear song and riffs we all know to directly compare difference but with the exact same songs/riffs. I had not played for quite a while so I was winging it clams and all......

Maybe less work intensive food next time so he has time to play all the amps since it is an ampfest.

It had been so long since I had eaten food grilled over real charcoal I forgot that great smokey flavor it imparts!
