Clean Boost Only?? Creation Audio Labs Mk.4:23Pro (48V model) or the standard is fine I'm sure too. No dirt, just pure clean clear crystalline power forward to the top. Doesn't change the tone - if anything - adds diamonds to it. Amazing.
No noise gate. Never a need. It's either perfect preamp bottles or an isolated FX system. No noise gate needed.
