Best Noise reduction/gate system

Im looking for a high quality dual noise gate for a dual rig im working on. Ive tried the isp pedal and rack unit im not feeling them sucks tone right out. Any suggestions?

Unless if I'm missing something, I don't think it gets more high quality in guitar noise reduction than the ISP.

The ISP is the best available and has very, very little effect on your tone, Albeit there is no such thing as completely transparent.

I haven't found anything better than the ISP, but wiring your rig correctly to eliminate noise in the beginning goes a long way

How high do you have the thresholds set? Anything past noon starts to kill dynamics and tone.

I just bought the ISP pedal last night night and it works great but I'd like to get the Pro Rack G when I can afford one.

I have both the ISP ProrackG and the MXR Smart Gate Pro. I like them both equally so if the ISP isn't working for you, maybe try the SGP.

Don't get the smart gate!

I used to have both and though they were equivalent until saw this video and performed the exact same test myself with identical results. I sold 3 smart gates on ebay shortly thereafter.

I have the pedal and pro rack. The sickest part is with all my stock amps.

vh4
vht cl 100 w/eq
3 channel recto
there is no problem at all

with all my modded or custom stuff
voodoo witch doctor
dual recto pre 500 modded
jcm 2203x modded
2203 fja
5150 modded
it seems to chew somthing out of all of them. Like a bit of top end or somthing i cant put my finger on it but there is a def different it almost sucks that special vibe factor out of it. I thought it was me but my whole band says the same thing. The prorack is pretty simple one channel out front the other in the loop. I tried my old dbx 266 tonight belive it or not it did a 100 times better job, Not as flexable but it worked great without loosing any top end or life.

The G model is for Guitar. the other one has TRS inputs ans is for other sound applications, PA etc..
