I'm not into pedals with a gazillion nobs and I have had a dozen different chorus pedals in 18 months including Analogman, Keeley and any the other I could get my hands on.

This pedal is stupid amazing both before and after "dirt" in my pedal chain + stereo is breath taking.

Super easy to dial in, not a bad sound in it IMO + sounds even better than some of the vids out there.

Boo-ya!!!

Are you running in stereo the majority of the time? I play a mono rig live but use a Boss CH1 chorus from time to time. Looking to potentially swap for the 5150 Chorus which I'm sure is a better pedal. I Just find that Chorus in mono is rarely as exciting as a stereo sound.

Looks very cool, I like the input and output options. Top Jacks are nice as well as is being able to switch the bypass.

I just don't find I use chorus that much and that I like my Jacques Meistersinger and Maxon CS-9pro for the little I use them.

How is the 5150 Chorus on the top end? Any metallic overtones?

The tone knob is really effective for dirt and clean tones and different guitars. I use strats and P-90 guitars and it works well.

I run this chorus stereo in a pure pedal platform rig on mesa express+ heads, clean channel only. I use an JHS AT boosted with an 808 for high gain dirt + an un-stacked Friedman dirty Shirley and a Carl Martin lo-gain plex tone for other gain structures... most toneful rig I have ever owned.

Looks cool Gyles(Giles? f#ck I dunno) If you say it's cool I'm sure that it is :)

Dang man , your rig has definitely changed!

I'm a major sucker for chorus. Been looking for a particular chorus sound for years and stumbled on Pete Thorn's demo of this pedal and lo-and-behold, there's the sound I've been looking for. It's a difficult thing to pin down and quantify, especially when you're trying to explain it to someone.

Glad you're digging it, thanks for the mini-review! I'm definitely going to track one down and give it a whirl.

I dont know.. the unit67 is damn close if not equal

I like to describe it as being fat and dirty!

They (Dunlop/MXR) did an incredible job with it, IMO.
