You can buy on ebay, chinese military 12ax7, very cheap, about 8-11 USD
the ones that were used by Marshall, Mesa, during 80's / 90, made in Beijing, they have a dual supported square getter.
They are high quality, reliable, and sound better than current production shuguang.
They are 12ax7 designated as 6N4 tube or 6N4J.
I ordered from China, 2 times and everything was fine.
