So I've been messing around with the Electro Harmonix 44 magnum here at the store... man this thing has some balls!! :lol: :LOL: This has gotta be the best portable setup that will fit in your gig bag!!!!

Here is a combo i came up with after trying a ton of really cool pedals ....

GTR --->> Radial London Distortion-->> Boss DD3 Delay -->> MXR 6 band EQ -->> EHX 44 magnum -->> Cabinet

I swear i was getting cameron like tones out of this setup...Has me seriously debating on using this setup for smaller gigs, it sounds that good!!!

Any one else try these little things? the trick is the EQ to scoop out some of the ugly low mids , and that Radial London is an amazing little distortion pedal! Can't believe how good it sounds....

That is all :rock: sorry im excited at how cool this actually sounds and how portable it actually is....

here is an added clip https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_qKUA5FN_DY

Clips or it's a ......DOD death metal distortion! ;)

No seriously, I've been wanting to hear this thing in a compact rig setup to see what it can do volume wise.

cant believe it.. sounds so good! :rock:
Wow! that's impressive. I just keep picturing being onstage with a small pedalboard going into a 112 or 212 cab and that's it! No heads or racks. That would be a cool backup rig. :rock:

I know! It's insane, you have to hear it in person , it seriously moves some air! :lol: :LOL:

WTF????? :shocked: That sounds better than 99% of the clips(video) that are posted here. Seriously. :rock:

I wonder if it would sound any better (subjective obviously) with the Radial Hot British tube distortion since the a guy said the London dist. is a ss version of it. Still, sounds killer. Only downside is price. London Dist. $150ish, MXR eq $70ish, 44 Mag. $150ish. Almost $400. But like you said, it fits in your gig bag. I want to check it out in person.

Which would be better though...the 22 Caliber or the 44 Magnum?

Pretty sure the 22 Cal is a 22 watt power amp, while the 44 Magnum is, you guess it; a 44 watter. Depends on how much power you want. :thumbsup:

That's just wicked :thumbsup:

What a blast man, I can just see this being a terrific traveling rig, fo'sure!!

Thanks for the inspiring post :rock:

Well yea...but that seems too simple :lol: :LOL: I'm just curious if they're pretty much the same except for wattage...just curious if one sounds better than the other.
