I had a bit of evidence monorail and george L angled ends and it was a pretty horrible combination. Maybe these 2 aren't compatible. Was wondering what the best route is to go if I go solderless? I can solder for shit and I change my rig too much to keep buying cables

I've got George L's and have nothing but good to say. Went together easy and sound great.

Planet Waves Cable Station are awesome and sound very good.

I used George L for a while and wired up a whole rig with their solderless connectors and soon after they started to crap out, and even when they worked i wasnt all too impressed. I simply watched some vids on youtube on how to solder my own cables and now i buy bulk mogami cable and neutrik connectors. The cables are better quality and last longer as they're soldered. Plus i end up spending the same amount on parts if not less compared to bulk george l cable and connectors.

My buddy bought George Ls and I bought planet waves, we weren't sure which to go with so we decided to try out both. His George Ls lasted a while but ended up giving him trouble. Never had any trouble with the planet waves.

The best solderless cables are the one's you have to solder.....But, I found the Lava solderless to be more secure than the George L's, Core-X or Planet Wave's.
