Nice. I'll have to check that out  . The new Vektor "Terminal Redux" has really blown me away, and is definitely worth checking out too.

Yes, Vektor rules ! I saw them in a small club a few months ago & they were awesome. I've been into them ever since Outer Isolation (2011). BTW they tune UP to F standard lol.

Well, may be not master of puppets but this dudes have done good, better than anything Big 4 done in at least 25 years. In my humble opinion they are the best thrash band out of the 'new wave of thrash metal'.

Pretty awesome. The lead vocals did not cut it for me but the music and "gang vocals" were great. Pure thrash metal right here.

I skimmed through that Vektor video posted and thought it was horrible   Green Death, I could only find one song and wasn't feeling that either.

For me this is the best thrash song to come out in the last few years besides Testament's Dark Roots. A little modern mixed in but it is pretty bad ass. Heavy as F...

And since we are throwing in bands like Vektor ;) This is the best thrash band of all time (death thrash)

I'll check this out for sure! Another good one is Whiplash's Thrashback which came in in 1999 IIRC.

For the last 2 weeks both of them on my phone. I do like DBS a bit more, really fucking looking forward third full album...and the US tour.

Not sure if you all consider this thrash, more crossover but one of my favorite albums. It's old but not as old as Master of Puppets.

I wouldn't call that thrash at all. The single best trash album since mop,imo is twisted into form by Forbidden. Paul Bostaph on drums. Those riffs and leads man!

I was just listening to this yesterday...absolutely one of my favorites of all time. The song "Infinite" is one of the greatest thrash songs ever written.

The best current band imo. 100% old school but still somewhat interesting and fresh. All old dudes though:

I agree with this 100%

Here's my favorite modern thrash band:

Some of these names are nuts, Municipal Waste and Toxic Holocaust!!! Haaaaa!! The thoughts they conjure up alone make the names worth it/

My favorite thrash bands right now.. Most of that shit posted above doesn't touch it.

Evile - Skull is really good I agree. Heathen - Evolution of Chaos is pretty good. A bit different but I also really really like Cavalera Conspiracy - Pandemonium.
