Best Wah Today?

Another vote for the Cantrell Wah... it doesn't have the biggest range IMO... but if you love that super throaty and vocal range of a lower cocked wah... it's by far the best wah for that type of sound...

...and don't get me wrong, it has a decent range, just not like a Slash or Zak Wylde Wah... or even the classic Cry Baby, it's made to do what it doesn't specifically, and does it EXTREMELY well... it has a knob on the side so you can adjust how for of a sweep to the high end range it has when the rocker is all the way toe forward... really cool...

After years of use, I still love my Budda! It's one of the older ones though, not sure how much has changed when it was redesigned after Peavey bought them.

Anyone have experience with a Wilson Rippah Q-Wah? I found those as well in my searches today and the videos I'm seeing look like they have a really nice throaty and expressive wah sound

well after going through a few different ones, Morley Bad Horsie is a cool feature in that it has no switch, but the sweep is horrible, after it said and done, I'm back with a Crybaby. No need to reinvent the wheel I guess.lol

I only really have experience with two: 1SR Rack Wah and the CAE. The 1SR was very cool (I liked position 2, I think), but the CAE IMHO sounded better (more range, more throaty, better boost, better bypass), so out went the 1SR.

Cantrell is my man crush so I really need to try his sig wah.

Ive owned so many over the years. Bought a Wilson and I've had it for 2 years now and haven't even looked for a better one!
