Between the Buried and me playing AXE FX

saw them last night, I noted immediately that the guitars sounded great.

after the set I was talking to Dustie for a while and it turns out they are both using AXE FX.

I am more impressed by this thing daily!
 
Were they using it as an amp replacement too, or just for effects? I know for awhile there they were using Roadsters, I do believe. I really dig them. Their live Colors DVD is pretty good.
 
They were using the models. I cant remember for the life of me what rhythm he told me he was using but I do remember hes using the mark IV model for leads.

he was using it with a mesa 50/50 but it blew up recently so he had it fed in to the power amp of his roadster.
 
I wonder if they built their own patches, in fact I often wonder how many guys using the Axe at the pro level have actually built the patch themselves or just tailored what their tech creates.

Dustie told me he tweaked it until he was happy.
 
Cool. I'm heading to Summer Slaughter today and I know some of those guys use the Axe.

oh sweet have fun ,im going to see BTBAM again tonight and then rockstar mayhem tomorrow, i love the summer its metal time!
 
I think when BTBAM toured with CYNIC they got to hear the AXE FX every night and that my have converted them over :lol: :LOL: :D
