one has popped up used at a good price and im considering all types of (covered) pickup to replace the bridge HFS in my PRS Alderbody w/maple top bolt on CE24 PRS

is this pickup suited more towards the aggressive/tight/low end/metal tones or can it do more?

the guitar is in D flat Standard or Drop C# and is my guitar for more heavier styles of playing.

anyone compare it to other pickups?
or how it fares/differs with the warpig?

I use it in drop Ab,
It is very tight, excellent note separation and articulation, not a huge fan of lower gain tones on the bridge though. For something more versatile id probably grab a nailbomb for that guitar

I had one in a RGA121 it was a great pickup but i think it works best in Alder/Basswood/Ash apposed to mahogany, It had a strong low mid which bothered me a bit in tracking with the RGA121. Its a great pickup clear, tight and just mean sounding but in mahogany i have to recommend the coldsweats over the A-math.
For the guitar mentioned it should slay!

I agree!
Just stating that found it to be a bit strong in the low-mid in mahogany bodied guitars.
Im installing a rebel yell in a SG this week stoked to hear the outcome of that combination
