I have a BKP Aftermath in a Fender Hard Tail strat and I really like it... I do not play in low tunings at all and it seems to be very smooth and powerful. I like it because it is a little dark and does not sound to bright, nice mids and pretty rockin'.

I am a JB fan but and feeling that they are a little bright and want to replcae the JB in the bridge of my charvel usa san dimas with a BKP...

I want somthnig JB ish without the bright highs and very smooth on top like the aftermath...

Was thinking Holy Diver or maybe just buy another Aftermath...

I have little experience with the pickups other than the Aftermath. any suggustions would be gratly appreciated.

Thanks!

The holy diver is the only pickup that i would but in charvel from the bkp line. I just put a set in my smamp ash maple neck guitar and it is awesome. The neck pickup is also on of the best pickups i have ever played as well! The aftermath will be to bright in that guitar the holy diver is fat, sweet, and middy, it also has a killer bell like quality to the high end. I think you will love them.

The Diver is a great pickup but keep in mind, its very warm and dark, thick in the low mids and bass, smooth highs...Great pickup for leads and good for rhythm in the right guitar. Its pretty different from a JB IMO , Ive had several JB's and Holy Divers. I think if you want something like the Aftermath with a smoother top the answer is the Juggernaut.

Yeah it can work great in that guitar but it depends... Ive had several Charvels , a couple of them had very fat lowend , others were thinner and tighter on the lows .... IMO it will work best if the guitar is naturally tight and doesnt have a BIG lowend. The Diver wont sound bad either way dont get me wrong but in general its more of a lead pickup than a rhythm pickup. In the "right" guitar it will do everything well though.
