I've got an old Epiphone '67 Flying V that's in shambles. I'm looking to upgrade the hardware on it, and I can't decide between black or chrome. In the past I had upgrade the hardware with chrome Gotoh tuners and TonePros bridge and tail, but I ended up selling that stuff off when I needed some cash. My original plan was to grab chrome hardware again, but now I'm thinking black is the way to go! However, I feel like I'd need to get pickups with black poles, or black covers, if that's the route I take. Which would mean instead of just needing to buy a neck pickup to go with my traditional looking Tone Zone... I'd need to ditch the Tone Zone and buy a complete set of pickups with black poles/or covers.

This is the Gibson version of my guitar with chrome (mainly), and black hardware.

Thoughts?
