There is a cab here in Denmark with those speakers. I was going to order a new quad of H30 Anni speaker. But should I just grab that cab instead?

Have any tried them?

I've had one blackback cab with them, and 2 Pulsonic 1972 H30s....and the newer made in England H30 Annis. I'm just not a fan of the the H30s; too bright for me...but honestly, if the price is low enough for the vintage cab grab that. Simply for the value. In the end though, I didn't hear that much difference in the vintage versions vs the newer anniversaries. I hear more differences in the M25 vintage vs current versions than the H series.

With all the various H30’s it seems the hollow, smooth midrange is what sticks out most in character. I think that’s what is off with they’re sound rather brightness because technically the M20’s (of any variety) I’d consider a lot brighter (in a good way), but they have good midrange, JBL’s and Crescnedo’s of course also more extended highs. I think when you have a sound that isn’t quite scooped per se like JBL’s, but hollow with pronounced highs like H Mag celestions you get a sound that is kinda awkward in voicing and people often say it’s too bright, but I think it’s really the hollow midrange that is the culprit of why it’s off. The strat bridge pickup is another classic example of this problem, while Tele’s typically sound brighter and more sizzly, but have good midrange to that balance it out well

I think it would be a good cab. Those 75Hz H30's are what the Annis are aiming to be.
