The blackheart HD has 2x4ohm, 2x8ohm and 1x16ohm speaker outs. Can I safely plug an 8ohm speaker in one of the 8ohm outs AND a 16ohm speaker in the 16ohm out at the same time?

I have a 16ohm Celestion for an extension for my Peavey Delta Blues. I use a Mesa cab 1x12 with an EV12 for the Blackheart.

No but contact the company and.ask.if the amp.can handle both those speakers each plugged separately into the 4 ohm taps. Some amps can and some.cant....best to ask.

With a Mesa Head, you can plug the 8ohm into the 4ohm output and the 16ohm into the 8ohm output for a "safe mismatch". (According to the Mesa website.) I wonder if the same is true for the handsome devil?

The support link on the Blackheart website does not work and a search comes up empty of anything useful.

The Mesa's output transformer probably costs as much alone as the entire Blackheart amp, at least.
I wouldn't do it.

exactly. thats why i said to call and ask, or email them.

was just using mesa for an example...most of their amps you can mismatch up or down, doesn't matter, it'll just give you tonal differences.
