What we have is way worse than fascism. Under fascism, the government wants highly competitive markets inward, which they then organize to project outwards a union of these businesses to be as competitive as possible against other countries. We have a government that has completely abandoned that and just has politicians picking their winners out and giving them unfair, non competitive advantages. Fascism is highly nationalistic, they want the rank and file to do well, our politicians, bureaucrats and businesses do not give one fucking shit about the country.
China is text book fascism, it's not communist at all anymore. They have high degree of nationalism with highly competitive businesses domestically so they develop and mature, they then arrange these businesses under various programs and policies to be as competitive as possible outwards.
When Germany and Italy deployed under this economic model in the 20s-30s, it wasn't just giving all the rewards to a select few, everyone was doing better, this is echoed in China...fascism is probably the most greatest economic model ever enacted, at least it seems that way from how much evenly spread progress it repeatedly displays. But its a bad word that blue haired freaks love to sperg out over (and never once demonstrate they even know what it means).
A company like Amazon wouldn't be allowed to exist under this, in China, they have a bunch of different Amazon like companies (Taobao, JD, PDD), so they have to compete against each other and have a bit different business models/organization/services.

Oligarchs didn't become who they are by wasting money on non-productive, non-profitable things.

If anyone is dumb enough to think they are going to make Useless Easters comfortable in exchange for nothing, you've got another thing coming. World depopulation is part of the goal.

As soon as "free elections" are obsolete in the First World, a lot of people will become "unnecessary".

Most of the productive Western worlds has stopped procreating already so world depopulation will be occurring but probably not fast enough for the like of the oligarchs. How they keep the ponzi scheme going with a declining population is not a workable math problem.
