Hey,

I'm picking up a new amp tomorow, it's between a Blackstar Ht-100 and a Jet City JCA100h.

But I'm clearing up questsions that I can't find much info on elsewhere.

There's an additional jack for an extra footswitch on the HT-100, that apparently gives a mid boost and apparently gives a gain boost/voice switching or something. Can someone confirm this?

Also, could someone post a picture of the back panel of this amp? it would be hugely apreciated. I'd rather do that than have the guy at the shop take down a pile of 3/4 blackstars to then turn around the amp I want to see and turn it back.

i guess this is what you're talking about:

11. Overdrive 2 Voice Footswitch
An optional 1-way latching footswitch (Blackstar FS-4 recommended) may be
connected here to allow the Overdrive 2 Voice function to be remotely controlled.

just a 1 button footswitch akin to hitting the button on the front of the amp i guess

the handbook file should answer most of your questions

EDIT: Found it in the manual. Thanks man. :)

Any pictures of BS/JC rigs would be great too.

Thanks man. That's very helpful. :) Does the voice change add to the gain/volume enough for leads? I guess I've got a SD-1 and a GE-7 for solos but still, very cool. My friend built a latching footswitch for his fender, that's collecting dust now so I might borrow that off him.

I'm still after a picture of the back panel.

yeah for sure, it adds quite a bit of volume, gain and and some presence and mids as well. I am not at home to take a picture of it for you unfortunately.

Thanks man. I've since found a picture. :) I'm only after the actual amp and footswitches now.

I too stand to buy either Blackstar or Jet City - probably both but one at a time. HT-5 head or Jet 20W. Love em both.
Have you decided?
