Blackstar ht club 40 Upgrade!!??

Hi guys,

Is not that i don't like the way my blackstar ht40 sounds, i'm very pleased with it! it's sound awesome!

Just wondering what kind of upgrades can i make to make it sound even better?

Looking for a good heavy metal tone, kinda like doug aldrich, richie faulkner, gus g... more or less that sound.. i know they are different but you get the idea.. lol

Speaker? i guess celestion vintage 30?
Tubes? i don't know much about them.. suggestions?
Anything else to consider?

Definitely needs a speaker upgrade. Try a creamback, V30's a little too mid-focused for that amp.

doesn't blackstar make some sort of metal amp in that same series of amps?
