blackstar ht5 vs tweaker 15 vs jet city jca 22

I'm looking for low wattage head with high gain. I'm on a 400 dollar budget and like to play me some metal but love options on my amp. I like the 3 I listed a lot but also would like more options to consider. I like to play pop punk/hardcore/metal

Blackstar sounds awesome with lots of high gain options and 2 channels
Cons- its only 5 watts

Tweaker 15 has LOTS of settings and amp options and the price is nice.
Cons- not sure if it has enough gain on the settings for drop tunning and metal
I REALLY WANT THE TWEAKER if it can do HIGH GAIN and ChUGS!!!

Jet city jca 22 awesome amp clean with lots of high gain distortion and priced so cheap!
Cons I don't like the distortion it is not as tight as I like.

Any feed back is appreciated as I will be making a purchase this week. I should also mention the only amp in my area that ican try before buy is jet city.
 
Blackstar. If you need more volume on stage just mic it up. It's tight and the drive channel sounds great to me.
 
I'm so close to ordering the ht5. I'm just worried about volume of jamming with friends and the possibility of just not liking it. I will be playing it through a jet city 2x12. Right now I have a 100 valveking head that I use for jamming/gigs/bedroom and hoping the black star will be a nice alternative!
 
5 watts is pretty loud still. When cranked u will have some breakup in the clean channel. But if tight drive is what your looking for I think the ht5 is the better out of what u listed and for the price range your in.
 
The HT5 is a great amp but it won't keep up with a drummer unless mic'd.
 
What about a Vox Valvetronix? It has the gain, the price and can cover a lot of ground.
 
If you go blackstar get the ht-5R . Tone control for the clean and the amp has more gain than the first version.
 
What about a used Blackstar HT-20h? Get the good stuff of the HT-5 with more headroom. Should be able to get one for $400.
 
Ya I'm just on a budget...just bought 72 deluxe otherwise would love the ht20.
 
Sweet thanks man! I'm still going to wait till friday to make my choice! I wish I had more options in town for amps!
