Blackwater Les Paul

I like how Kroeger knows better than to put his signature on his own signature guitar... makes it more likely that I (and probably many others) would consider getting one.

None of that shit matters.....
Is it or is it not a worthy guitar based on how it is made,
the price it costs for what you really get,
and what options it has,
and most important is does the specific one you have in your hand have good tone ,
and does it resonate..
Suppose I'm not so open minded, but I could never live down the fact that I have a Chad Kroeger signature Les Paul, were I to buy one. YMMV.

I would love to see a properly bookmatched Les Paul. ALL Les Paul tops are terribly matched, it drives me insane. I don't think it should be considered a AAAAA top if it isn't bookmatched properly.

I couldn't agree more. Half the tops on the epiphones blow away Gibsons that cost 5-8 times more  I never could understand how the book matching and tops in general on LPs is so bad compared to other companies like PRS.

Nope me either, may as well buy one of the Jonas brothers Melody Makers

I want a superstrat with an actual Black Water logo painted on the body, you know the target with bear paw print.

I'm not a fan of flame tops at all, but this does look good:

That said could not bring myself to buy one -- me no likely teh Nickelsack.

Maybe I'm wrong but I didn't know he actually played guitar, seriously,I thought he just shaked his ass and danced with it like Kip Winger,he's not the person that comes to mind when I saw this LP. That said,it's pretty sweet, reminds me of the Joe perry LP.
Love the top to

Glad to hear it isn't just me that worries about the book matching. It's the reason why the suhr I should have coming in any day now is a one piece :D
