Hey Guys,
I´m Daniel from northern germany, this is my 1st post here with a "Two-Notes" related Post.
I got to our band room today to capture some impulses of my cab. For 1st I did some reamps, using my real amp, to be sure, that everything was set up fine, then changed the tube amp for a Yamaha P5000S PA Amplifier, to have a neutral solid state power amp for capturing the IR, as I wanted to use it with my torpedo live.
1st I set up BlendIR as mentioned in the tutorial to work on 96kHz sampling rate. The buffer was set to 512 samples.
What 1st surprised me, was, that the progress bar went on to about 200% and moved far outside the window.
But the real bad thing was the shown frequency response.
I made a 2nd attempt, lowering the sampling rate to 48 kHz - it got better, but not even close, to what I was thinking, it should look.
3rd attempt was at 44.1 kHz sampling rate - here´s the result:
Is there any known issue with the 0.9.4 mac beta version?
I used the following chain:
2007 C2D MacBook Pro running OSX 10.6.8
RME Fireface UFX output to-> YAMAHA P5000S -> Mesa Rectifier 4x12 -> Shure SM57 -> BAE 1073MP -> Fireface UFX
BlendIR 0.9.4
latest RME Fireface driver (downloaded this afternoon)
reamping with Protools worked like a charme, as usual
Thank you very much,
