Blew a fuse the other night and it either shattered in the fuse socket or crumbled when I took it out.
I dump it out and shop vac'd the broken glass. I know how to re-tube and bias and have the tools, my uncle is also an electrical engineer so I can ask for general electrical guidence from him too. I'm just looking for some guidelines from the amp guru's.
I'm wondering if their other damage to the amp or tubes? I don't know if the tubes are still good or how to tell either?
It is just the outer pair that the fuse/blown tube light lite up on. It also still worked after the blown fuse light lite up.
What size of fuse and what type of fuse should I use (ceramic -vs- glass) I think it is a 0.5 amps?
