I saw Blues at a clinic in the 80's at a small music store in Flint, Mi. Guitar into wah into a tube Laney head into a 4x12. KILLER tone.

He was great. I dig his playing. I sure wish there was more of it. I wish he'd record some more albums. Band and solo.

i dig his playing too. great phrasing, vibrato..Plaid album is great.

Want a good way to kill GAS and realize its all in your fingers? Do a google search for blues saraceno Afro fuzz and watch the video. The man is tone!!!

I have worn out a few copies each of the Blues Saraceno instrumental CDs. I got to see him do a clinic in NJ during the plaid era and loved every minute of it.

Alex has always been a huge inspiration to my playing as far as vibrato/feel is concerned. He can just get into the groove and stay there as if it is completely natural without a single struggle. Killer player!

You dont hear much about his mojave designed dirty boy these days. As a matter of fact i think i have only heard of one on the forums and i think it was a link over to TGP.

I know lynch owned a modified dirty boy and i also know that dime was a huge Saraceno fan as well

Hes an outstanding player. Cool and down to Earth as well. He could headline big venues but chooses not be the Rockstar.

I still have the Never look back and plaid cassettes from the guitar for the practicing musician days. i ordered them from the mag back then.

He`s been a huge influence on me. Never look back was more rock then the plaid`s bluesier flavor.

One of the better players out there for sure, very stand out player.

Chris
