Bogen Challenger CHB50 Project?

I have this old Bogen head that I got in the early 80's. It was used for many years as the PA for local business until they closed their doors. Its a 2x5881 power section and still functions perfectly. Anybody familiar with these amps?

It's so ugly its kinda cool looking and I would love to build it into a guitar amp if possible...either as a home project or as a mod done by a pro. Any help would be appreciated.

Pretty sure that is the same platform that was used for my Bogen vplexi from Voodoo Amps. The transformers are good in those amps. As for turning it into a guitar amp, you'd probably have to gut it and start from scratch would be my guess.
