I'm currently in a band that plays in C standard most of the time and sometimes drop Bb.
I'm using a vh4 and am pretty happy with it using an OD 808 out front to tighten a little.
I'm curious about using an Uberschall for these tunings?
Anyone have any experience?
I had an el 34 twin jet a few years ago and didn't really dig it much but was using for standard tuning stuff.

Yep, it works well.

I had a Green uber in Drop C and Drop Bb. Sounded massive. Did not run any 7's or lower tunings through it though.

I gigged one in drop C a number of times with no issue. I also played my buddy's 7 through one as well a handful of times with no issue either. Mine was a Cameron modded Rev 2, but you could disengage the mod and it was fine either way. I would anticipate boosting it to tighten up the low end, though.

New Slipknot record has a lot of Uberschall on it in drop B and drop A.

Also, check out the Deliverance. Killer amp. Although I haven't dropped lower than Drop C. But it holds together excellent.

There is nothing your Diezel VH4 can't do that an Uberschall will.
