Bogner 100b 93 Les Paul Classic clip

Aftershock 4x12 with wgs green beret speakers. Seems to sound better than my uberkabs for this type of low volume room recording. No name japanese high output humbucker. Had a boss ge-7 and DM2 in loop. 100b loops can pop in footswitch but it goes away if your at show or rehearsal volumes. At the moment its my only amp as I had bills and dental stuff and sold off all my amps. Its my 3rd time owning a 100b.
 
Love the 100B. If you want to stop the pop switch your amp on to standby mode, switch any footswitch button multiple times on and off then turn amp on, fixed.
 
Man, the 100bs are so great. Such a shame these are so rare!
 
Sounds fantastic. I've never tried an XTC. But I kinda want to now haha. My Yeti sounds similar, but not as chewy in the mids. Your clip has a nice aggression in the upper mids.
 
Sounds great! How do those green berets handle high volume? Or is that the job for the V30s?

They are fine especially 2 cabs but vintage 30's will cut better and hold together better but I think I prefer the greenback sound recorded with this amp
 
Wow. This clip sounds great. As good as my 101b sounded, it did not sound this good.

How much impact is the graphic eq having on this tone? It is on the entire clip and how to you set it? Thanks.
 
The Geq wasnt on the whole time. It just added a little top end sizzle and tiny mid scoop. Top left of footswitch is when its on. I started experimenting with geq with my uberkabs as they were sounding dark and pressurized kind of like a boogie IIC+ without graphic eq. One of them is all V30 the other V30 wgs et65. As soon as I moved over to my greenback cab (the one in clip) its started sounding more open and natural and like how I was setting geq with uberkabs so the geq wasnt really needed but it was still hooked up. Im going to load an uber with greenbacks. I remember years ago when I had another 100b and my best sounding bogner cab had greenbacks. I just hope they cut live or Ill just run another with v30 at same time.
 
That sounded kick ass. I miss the 100b. Had a few and they are simply awesome!.
That clip did not help. :doh: :rock:
