Bogner Ecstasy 100B vs 101 Clips

Had to take advantage of a rare opportunity to A/B these two amps. Detailed some of the differences in another thread but here’s some clips. Overall I think I prefer the 101 but the feel of the 100b is so damn good - a little bit looser and more open of a response.

 
I prefer the 101B. The upper mids of the 100 don’t quite sit high enough like a Marshall and the bark is missing. The lower mids sit great and fill out the amp’s high gain tone better. I do like the clarity of the 100 more on the top end but it’s not a deal breaker. Makes me glad to have my 98 101B. They’re killer amps and wake up even more when cranked.
 
Sounds killer!

I prefer the 101B here just because it's a bit hotter but both amps sound great.
 
Yup...I'm going to have to buy a Bogner 101A or 101B. It's one of the boutique high-gain amps I've never owned and I like just about every clip I hear. Those chewy mids are killer.
 
I think I prefer the 100. Sounds more clear not as congested in the mids.

It’s funny how we hear things different, I said exactly the opposite, the 100 to me sounds a little stuffy and muffled
