Saw a post on Instagram about an EL34 powered smaller Ecstasy, guessing the EL84 powered one didn't go over too well maybe?
Any ideas on the amp besides the obvious?

I do t k ow what the deal was on the 25. It was only loosely based on the big brother,. I wonder if this will be made inhouse?

Hoping it's got 20th Anni pissed-off tones in there somewhere. The 101B and Classic were good, but the 20th beats em for my tastes.

I think EL84, made in Macedonia and Ecstacy name just doesn´t work together. EL34 are way to go for Ecstacy toanz. Buddy of mine had one told me it was ok. But for 2000€ You want more than ok amp.

It's made in house at Bogner.

I don't know for sure but I don't THINK it's going to have the direct recording thing happening. Maybe I'm wrong. But for $1995 that'd be pretttty awesome, though I don't really care about that stuff. A Suhr RL is going to sound better than pretty much anything else.

I personally really dig the idea of this amp. Perfect wattage. Small enough to sit on a 1x12 head. Enough thump and power to crush souls through a 4x12 if needed . I hear the red channel is pretttttty aggressive. And the clean channel is like a mix of 20th Shiva and 20th XTC. Probably going to sell a lot of these.

Holy shit those Bogner Ecstacy's sound terrific. When is the Synergy module coming out? That's probably something i can actually afford and I would love to compare it to the salvation XTC module i already own. On the lowly pathetic canadian dollar, I'm thinking that is the closest i will ever get.

Looks like it also addresses the complaint that it didn't look like an Ecstasy. Little headshell on the left in the video and the chassis clearly has the typical Ecstasy look with smaller chickenheads.

Basically all these amp makers are at the end of the high gain road.

High gain distortion has been the same since boogie bradshaw soldano 5150 etc. What else are they gonna do. Western electric circuit is the basis for all amps for the most part which is limited. In other words most amps are the same except for the way they sound and perform in general not literally, If you hear what Im saying and if you don't that's fine too.

another example I have 2 JMP100`s that bogner modded for 275 a piece when he and dave friedman worked at make n music/ that was 1991/1992. They still sound great and sound as good as any new bogner. His recipe hasn't changed much because there is only so much you can do with an electric circuit.

Looks pretty slick!

Yes me too.
If that can capture the kind of tone & feel I had on that old early custom 100B I've had years ago I'm all in; would be great for a small compact rig along a few 1x12s.

Super interested in this one for sure! Looks like Reinhold also has a new 1x12 widebody cab to go with this head.

If it has the built in load, I will order one!

Looks like no internal load from what I've read on TGP.
I actually prefer that if it can keep the price lower.
