Here’s some heavier tones, with some plexi-ish stuff thrown in as well:

Great clips BM

I’m a big-iron stalwart
This is the first lower wattage amp that has made me look up

I think a lot of people think lunch box amps small sound
These are are not small amps both this and the Tremonti
Have bigger transformer more like a 50 and big glass
While it maybe slightly more compact it’s essentially a 50 watt amp
Probably biased a bit colder with custom transformer few less winds

Someone measured the MT15 recently and it break up point
Clean headroom clocked in at 28 watts thats almost double the advertised wattage

Sounds good!
That one riff reminded me of Savatage "24 Hours Ago"?

The clips sound great ! Thanks for posting them .. Im also wondering how loud it is in the room with those settings , but nice tone though regardless

How is the compression on the ecstasy? I'm looking at either grabbing a 101b or repurchasing a 20th shiva. I find myself preferring amps with low compression and want another bogner.

DREAM AMP! I will absolutely get one of these no doubt. Recently, I wanted so bad to pull the trigger on a 101b but it's too much amp for my uses. This is absolutely perfect and the price range is apparently much more accessible. This is my favorite amp in the world. Damn hot!

Great clips. Thanks for posting. Seems like a killer amp.

Sounds chewy like the big amp. Now do I get the Bogner or the JJ Jr?
Exactly

I have the same question in mind currently too.

I'd also be very curious to hear feedbacks from people who could compare that new XTC 3534 to the old 100b.
I'd love to be able to get the 100b tone and feel in that smaller package.

Its definitely a vicious sounding little beast
I have said it on other threads but the red channel is-headed into Uber territory IMO
Especially considering all the clips are 10 -11 oclock gain unboosted

Damn that sounds great, thick and tight. Might have to take the plunge

Loud enough to cut through with a band w/out being mic'd?

I can't see how that would be a problem at all. My JTM45 is 35 watts and is PLENTY for any situation. I've gigged a MK V 25 unmiced in a modern rock band. Granted- that was through a 4x12 but still.

Also, to DIRECTLY answer your question lol....here's the 3534 cutting through the mix just perfectly.

So do you remember where you had the volume pot set to??? half way up or cranked or what??? Thanks man!!!

Killer playing sounded great. One day mine will finally ship

Super nice sounding amp! Still thinking about getting one at some point.

When I got mine I was kinda "meh" about it because I'm just not playing much and just haven't been feeling it if you know what I mean.
Then when I opened the box and found a busted head shell I was like "oh well no biggie".

Then the seller ask me to plug it in and see if it worked . So I did and man.........I was blown away. IMHO this is a steller sounding amp . Harmonics to spare and more bottom end than any 50watt I've ever owned . It is definately not the same as a 101b, IMO, its way better .had a 101b for a while and sold it with no regrets . It was a nice amp just not what i hoped it would be .
I was so impressed with this amp that I immediately started looking for one (even though my search for a new one had been met with multiple failures up to this point). I got lucky and found one in stock at Atlanta disconunt music.
I'm going to pick it up right after work.
