Bogner Ecstasy and VHT/Fryette Fatbottom 412

Hi guys.

I've put an Ecstasy 101B on layaway after trying it with the Bogner OS 212. It doesn't have Class A functionality but everything else is pretty good on it and it's new. Sounded great and would be a great complement to my drier Mako and VHT rig, especially for recording. Here's the question:

Right now my main cab is simply a Genz Benz G-Flex 212 that I've loaded with G12K-85's and it sounds great with my current amp stable (just sold my UL, but still have the 2/90/2 and Mak4) and can run in stereo.

I just got a lead on a minty D120 and FB412 and am thinking of buying as I know the Deliverance amps well and it has an insert effects loop which makes my GSP1101 relevant with the head for 4cm. The owner will not budge on price for this amp set up nor will he separate, so I'm considering biting the bullet. Worst case scenario I separate and sell them and, at worst, break even.

However, I want to know... how does the FB412 fit with the Ecstasy? Anyone have any experience with that combo?

Ive tried it and no good. V-30's is the best best with the XTC. It helps brighten the amp up. Just my opinion.

Well, pretty much. The high mids of the V30's balance out the low-mid character of the XTC. The V30 has a recessed treble response.

How about with a standard (non OS) Rectifier 4x12? Could pick one of these up pretty cheap also.

Yeah, they sound very good with the Recto V30 equipped cabs...

But the best cab for a Bogner XTC? A Bogner V30 4x12

I liked Celestion EVH speakers in my Bogner 4x12 with the XTC.
