Watch in 720p or 1020p if your connection can handle it.

My connection cannot possibly handle such rock...

Well, that's a different problem altogether!

It held together, somehow, some way...

Sounds great! Seems perfect for pushing a Marshall...

So, you're using it as a boost to a already distorting amp? How do you feel about that compared to a more traditional type of boost in this fashion? Seems like a pedal that was designed around using in front of a clean amp, and sometimes those type pedals don't make for good boost pedals. What are your thoughts on the Bogner?

Nice playing and clip, btw.

Sounds great Bob! Cool song! Have you played the Red yet? You should!

Thanks guys.

The amp is not that distorted without the pedal. I thought about playing a little piece in front of the demo to show that but went the easy route, and didn't. Even with the preamp control dimed, until the amp is cranked it has little gain, and the amp master was on 1 for this demo.

I have a Bloody Murder and a TC Overdrive/Dist+ that both sound great in front of the amp, but they're very different than this Ecstasy pedal because the blue adds a lot of coloration of it's own. Quite frankly, I struggled a bit with the gain level because I wanted a little more juice, which I could get by using the boost function on the pedal but I didn't want to resort to the boost for rhythms... in retrospect, I should have used it for the leads but didn't.

Thanks bud. I haven't, but I am definitely wanting too. Would be a great companion to this blue.

Sounds great Bob! JMP + Bogner stuff rocks in general just imo fantastic playing/tone.

I'd like for it to work as a boost type pedal. Surely over kill for a boost pedal, but it seems really useful outside of that. It seems a great pedal in front of a clean amp, or as a preamp for a poweramp, of into the loop of another amp, or right into the DAW for cab sims (and perhaps poweramp sims).

I know that Samtheman used one in front of a semi distorted plexi type amp and it sounded like him, but he sounds that way in anything, so hard to tell.

I loved most of the Red pedal demos but this is the first Blue I have liked. Seems like those 2 would work well together. Bogner did a nice job, and of course, you as well Bob. Sounds great. :)

Thanks guys, glad you enjoyed it.

70 video watches and not a single person has recognized that I stole that second solo. :D

Sounds cool - I think you could have used more gain on both rhythm and lead, but it still sounds killer!

Yep and quote frankly, I struggled with the amount of gain and almost used the boost function on the pedal to get there, but decided as a matter of principle that I wouldn't... although I should have used it for the leads. Great pedal for sure, but I think in front of a clean amp it's actually got less gain that the actual Ecstasy Blue channel (I owned the Classic at one time).

Now I want a Red. :)

Oh, and I'm loving these PX-100s. Can't wait to plug the Viper into the D60.

Schenker?!

Great job Bob !

That was killer Bob! I like how clear the tone was especially on the lead. Sounded great! Was the JMP set pretty clean?
