Thanks and yes, Schenker. I'm still blown away ithat nobody recognized that solo without me hinting that it wasn't mine. Did I suck all the Schenker life out of it or what???

Thanks Olaf an yeah, that's how I'd describe it too, perhaps with the term "raw" in there too. Loving the P90's.

Thanks bud. The JMP was set a bit crunchy. I kept the volume low (relative term, I know...) on the Marshall (was set to 1 on the dial) which keeps the power section from really starting to break up. I knew I should have gone with my gut and recorded a little intro with the pedal off. Next time...
 
I knew it was shenker! Of course you won't believe me just like you don't believe me when I say i can tell something is digital ... :) (though it is getting harder and harder to tell!)

Now you didn't suck any Schenker out of it, for me it was just early morning and took me a couple of listens to get it ;).

Now, where will you be sending the million?!

Nice job Mr.Savage! everyone should have one P90 guitar. They are like single coils on steroids.

I picked up a blue from Sam Ash to give it a try in front of my plexi clone. I was kind of figuring I'd be returning it because I wasn't sure it would really be all that in front of already distorted amp. I don't think I'll be returning it. I run my amp around 6 so it's not full out, but still fairly crunchy, and the blue performed quite well. In plexi mode, it sounds very similar to the amp, just a little boost and fattening. The boost mode as plenty gain, but the bottom end gets boomy. In blue mode, there is more gain than plexi mode, but doesn't get too boomy.

There's so many different options I haven't tried them all, but so far I haven't really found a bad tone. This combined with the koko boost offers up a significant range of boosting tones. What's best is, like the koko, the blue doesn't feel like you've turned on a pedal.

I can't say how well it would perform with any more distortion that what I run already, but with a medium gained out plexi, or anything less, this pedal is a win.

I probably wouldn't have looked so bored if I was looking in the mirror but alas, it's behind me which made the task of watching myself a bit difficult at best. Yep, P90s are killin'.
 
I liked the Rhythm tone. Sounded better (tighter) than my XTC. Lead tone on the neck pup sounded very good, not too much bass. Didnt' really dig the bridge lead tone though. Maybe more gain would have helped.

P90's are cool pickups.

I haven't been here much lately at all.. you? looks like you are back. That's good cause Only You Can Rock Me Bob .. caught that instantly on the first note or two.. Classic Michael phrasing.. nice job .

nice tone on that Bob...sounds great with the 2204. I actually thought you had the right amount of gain going on but my pet peeves are too much gain and too much delay ;)
