Bogner Helios official demo is up

Sounds good, very raw sounding. What's strange is people are talking about wanting a Bogner with more high's and upper mids which this appears to have, but now there are complaints that it doesn't have enough low end. :confused:

Close your browser, turn off your phone, turn it back on, open Safari and it'll be there.

I have to do this every time I want to watch a vid. Very annoying but really only takes about 10 seconds.

Actually before that, try hitting the back arrow and then forward again. 9/10 times the video pops up for me
 
I dig it, cool demo. Doug is fantastic, you can hear the EJ influence, but could still pick him out of a crowd without seeing who is playing. Can't wait to get my hands on one! Not sure why people would be interested in it for a modern metal amp, but it will be interesting to see what the bottom control and punch switch do to the sound.

It sounds a bit squeaky to me in the highs. :dunno: Not blown away yet...
 
To me it has the same "harmonic content" as the other Bogner amps. I own a Shiva and can hear a similar type thing though it obviously has more upper mids and highs to sound more similar to an old Marshall.
 
Sounds like it doesn't have as much gain as an XTC. More Shiva like. I would love to try one.
 
Sounds absolutely killer! The caliber of guitarists in the demo definitely helps, too.
 
I could listen to Doug play all day! Great sounding amp!
 
Very cool amp. It still has that Bogner chewiness but a little more open and upper kids then my XTC Classic. Thats the best I can tell from a youtube vid.

Reinhold has been ripping off Marshall-tone for years.

I have better ways to spend 5K.
